serving the citizens of fort bend county

J CHRISTIAN BECERRA

I am J. Christian Becerra, a Fort Bend County native and proud graduate of B.F. Terry High School, The University of Texas at Austin and Thurgood Marshall School of Law. As a licensed attorney, I have served my community for the past two decades. As my children begin their life after college, now, I believe it’s time to serve in a different capacity. With your support, I will become the next judge of the 434th district court and will bring equal justice and innovative leadership to the Fort Bend County Courthouse.

VALUES

FAMILY VALUES

I have a proud family legacy of public service that I will uphold when I am appointed to the 434th Fort Bend District Court. With a family man behind the bench, Fort Bend can ensure our family values, like trustworthiness and integrity. Outside of the courthouse, I am a loving husband to Lacy Labay Becerra and a proud father to three beautiful girls. Having grown up in a family with a legacy of public service and having experienced the life changing decisions that happen day to day in the Fort Bend Courthoue, I have been inspired to give back to my community and make a difference for the better.

EQUALITY

I am an avid advocate for equal and compassionate justice that is not impartial to any religion, race, gender or sexual orientation. After over two decades of practice, I am qualified, not only because I understands rule the law and how it must be fairly implemented fairly and maintained in the Courtroom. I am willing to take on the fight for change in our local court system. This means challenging the status quo and assuring that the rule of law is upheld and virtuous.

COMMUNITY

At its core, my campaign is about serving and representing my community. My community is my family and have invested in me and allowed me to achieve all my successes in life and I believe it is now time to return the favor! A native son to Fort Bend County, I pursued a career in law with the goal of working in and for my home community. The idea of public service is deeply rooted in me because I was born to a family long dedicated to serving the community. I am dedicated to serving and protecting the citizens of Fort Bend County.
